The Antwerp region is an industrial and highly prosperous region in the northwest of Europe. It is one of the ten provinces that make up the Kingdom of Belgium. Neighbouring countries are the Netherlands, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg. Antwerp is located in the Dutch-language region of Belgium, known as Flanders. In addition to the Dutch language, English, French and German are spoken widely and fluently.
