As from February 1st  2010 Mr ZENG Su was appointed as POM Antwerp's Chief Representative in Chongqing, China. Mr Zeng will be identifying Chongqing based companies that are willing to start up European operations via Antwerp, Belgium. Both Chongqing and Antwerp have a fast developing port. While Chongqing serves as a hub for China's interior, Antwerp is the gateway to Europe and the African continent. The two regions have a very well developed petrochemical cluster.

Because of the similarities between the two regions POM Antwerp firmly believes that mutual cooperation is essential. Therefore it is beyond doubt that Mr Zeng's appointment will further enhance trade relations between both Chongqing and Antwerp.
